I Hate Change Sometimes...

So I got this new computer, see, and I'm really loving the 19" flat monitor and the more efficient operation and all that junk, but I'm having one devil of a time getting used to it. I was muddling along before on my Dell (which I loved!) with an antiquated Windows '98 OS and all it's inherent glitches, patches, and generally lousy operation. But, at least I'd grown somewhat used to the crap it would throw at me, even if it did make me purple with frustration.

So now I'm working on a nice, new HP, with more memory than I'll ever need, and a Windows XP OS and all of its different formats. Half of my software programs are still on the other machine, all my anti-virus/firewall/anti-trackware programs are different, even my simple mindless games are gone(!), and I haven't a bloody clue what I'm doing! Erggggg!

Since there's more room on my desk now with this fancy new monitor, my feline beasties think I've cleared a spot just for them and insist on knocking everything else over to hunker down behind it and "be with me". *sigh* I could use a little less attention right about now, my little furry friends. Noooooo, you can't walk on the keyboard!!
