Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!...

Sucks, I tell you... positively sucks!! Sears Service Sucks!! Always has, always will!! Grrrrrrrr!

How one company can sell such great appliances and maintain such a rotten service department for so many years is beyond me! They hire morons... and rude morons at that!

My tale of woe: a brand new refrigerator w/bottom freezer drawer. Big handle to open said drawer. Big handle that regularly pops off when pulled upon... ooops, not supposed to happen. Call service department. Service departments sends repairman. Repairman doesn't have - and can't get - necessary part! Why? Because it's not in Sear's inventory. Uhmmmmm, okay...???? Repairman calls manufacturer. Guess what? Manufacturer can't find part either!! Hello??? I have the damn thing sitting in my kitchen - I know you people make it!!

Five some-odd extremely frustrating phone calls later and we still don't have repaired fridge or part... it's being "researched." On Mars, I suspect, 'cause ain't nothing happening here on Earth to get the stupid thing fixed.

One more chance they get, just one more. They're "tentatively" scheduled to be here on the 7th to end this drama. Otherwise they're going to find Marianne sitting on someone's desk demanding a new refrigerator and they can stuff their researched part where the sun don't shine!

I don't know why I shop at this stupid, damn store!

Okay, I'm done... carry on.

I have had the same service problems with Sears. I don't buy anything from them anymore! I sure hope you get this resolved.

take care,

Oh, I so agree with you. I quit buying appliances from them in the early seventies.

Why don't you call one of your local television stations? Do they have those consumer reporters that help people with these type of situations?

Let's all repeat together - Sears sucks.
