It's the simple things...

I just got the best phone call from Michael! Seems he and Dad ("aka your son and my father", in Michael's words) play some kind of pinball game on the 'puter and Daddy has been carrying an outrageous score of over 2 some-odd million for quite awhile. So Michael has been trying forever to beat Dad and finally managed it today. He's now proclaimed himself to be the pinball king of their house with his score of over 3 some-odd million!! He is strutting tall and just full of himself!

He's so proud of his accomplishment and went into great detail to share it all with me, including how he put his name in capital letters and how it shows at the TOP of the list and Daddy's is now second. :-)

I am so blessed with these children... that they take the time to call and want to share even their simplest doings with me is such a gift, such a treasure.

I wish they lived closer... they grow up so fast and these precious childhood moments become distant memories... and I don't even have a picture to scrap!
