And so it goes...

Things are kind of slow at my house - still putzing around with the new computer and getting more frustrated than I need to. Some of the old software isn't compatible with WinXP so will probably end up having to buy new and getting things transferred from the non-working Dell is difficult and time consuming.

In the meantime, Lew has "misplaced" the disk to re-install my scanner and being the resourceful soul that he is, went out and bought me a new one (which he sez he was planning anyway!) So now I've got this fancy Epson all-in-one deal that I haven't a clue how to operate yet instead of my perfectly good HP that I loved and knew what to do with. It's huge compared to the old one so had to rearrange things and make room for it, and my beastie boy thinks we got it just for him to lounge on and be "near me". Goofy cat!

Then, midst all this 'puter turmoil, silly me decided to get my website rebuilt and back online and of course I've forgotten half of what I need to know about html stuff so am frustrating myself there too. I really think I need to find another hobby or get a job or something. I have entirely too much time on my hands!

On a lighter, more positive note, I have the best grandchildren on the planet. Got a phone call last night from #1 grandson, who called because he just wanted to say hi. I love it! It's always such a pleasant surprise. So after making sure all was right in his world, we chatted until we ran out of things to say and I sent him off to bed with love and hugs. How many young teenagers call their grandmother just because? How blessed am I? ... the best, I tell ya, the best! :-)
