I spend an awful lot of time on good intentions - like yesterday, for instance. I had all intentions of washing a couple of loads of sheets, cleaning the mess off my desk (a task that never quite gets done, by the way. In my heart of hearts, I know that there are little desk gremlins that come out at night, invite all their beastly friends over, and party hearty on my desk!! How else can you explain it?), and maybe, just maybe, scrap a page or two. Shoooff!! I got squat done!

And, I can't even tell you what I did! Clearly, it wasn't anything memorable. A little putzing here, a little dabbling there, a little of this, a little of that, and shazaam, before you know it, the day is gone, it's time to go to bed, and I've been about as productive as the cat snoozing in the afternoon sun.

I don't know about me sometimes... seems this proclivity (oooo, there's a $1 word!) is an integral part of my being and one that has dogged me lo, these many years. How have I ever gotten anything done? I have got to get my butt in gear and get organized. My brain just doesn't function well midst clutter and loose ends. So, on that note, I'm going to get off of the computer and at least get some laundry done today (heh, heh, it's a good thing we have several sets of sheets!)
