Let the games begin...

Great opening ceremonies. I love all the splendor and spectacle of the Olympics. The fireworks were wonderful, especially the lighting of the Olympic flame - too cool. Pavarotti was in fine form and Sophia Loren looked spectacular for a 71 year old woman! It's always fun watching the athletes march in - they always look so happy and proud.

Guess I'll be stuck to the tube for the next couple.
