Bathroom "Art"?
So I'm roaming around the Internet in search of some clip art, and randomly come across this place... Toilet Seat Art Museum. Well now, there's an atttention getter, so naturally my oddball curiousity is aroused and I take a peek.
*sigh* Where do these people come from? I mean, how does one's mind work that they even come up with these ideas? Are they sitting on the pot one night, contemplating whether to pee or poo, and all of a sudden decide "hmmmmm, think I'll glue/paint my license plate on the toilet seat?" Or better yet, "I'll bet Johnny's trains would look awesome on the toilet seat!"
Obviously my creative juices are mundane and flow in a different direction. Who cares what the toilet seat looks like... and who spends that much time looking at the thing anyway? It's a toilet seat in the john, for crying out loud, not the Mona Lisa in the Louvre!
I appreciate the man's talent and artistic ability and all, but a toilet seat? And a museum full of them? I dunno... another one of those "to each his own" moments, for sure.
I do know one thing though. If I walked into a bathroom with a lid full of trains or other assorted paraphenalia, my immediate thought would be "ewwwww, how much... uhmmm - residue... has collected on that thing and do I want to put my shiny hiney anywhere near it?" I definitely think I'd be crossing my legs and beating feet to find another place to tinkle.
It's no wonder I'm always behind (pardon the pun) with my scrapping... I'm sitting in the wrong place!
Oh, do check out the English models on that site too - I'd hate to have to toss my cookies after an all night binge and run into one of those babies. I'd think I was seeing a lot more than pink elephants...
