Saturday Photo Hunt #6: Technology

TECHNOLOGY

Opted for a little 20th century progression of technology in the recording field for this week's theme... a 78 rpm, 33 rpm, 45 rpm, a cassette tape, and a CD. Don't own an iPod, so haven't joined the 21st century yet!

I remember listening to LP's, 8 tracks, and cassettes - all a thing of the past. Now it's CD's. We have a MP3 player but I rarely use it.

What a great blog! And you still have LPs! I sold mine for what I thought was good money about 15 years ago. If I still had them now I could probably retire! Thank you for visiting!

Guess you didn't even save the old 8 tracks, huh?
That's a really great concept, Marianne.
By the way, I love Eva Cassidy.

When I show the kids in my class a record these days that say, "Wow, that's a big CD". The times they are a changing huh? I guess I'm not in the 21st century along with you. I don't have an iPod either.

take care,
Dawn

Look that this collection! Amazing. We made bowls out of old LP as Christmas presents this year.

Technology keeps on moving.

Great photo for the Hunt.

That looks like a wonderful collection. My parents had a turn table for LPs before. I remember how my parents loved to play the records of Bee Gees, ABBA, Beatles and John Denver.

Hope you had a nice weekend.
