CATS ON TUESDAY
My beastie girl, Zoey, trying to get some sleep in the sun except for her crazy humommy crawling around on the floor clicking that silver thing at her.A mixed-breed tortiepoint Siamese, she always has a perpetual "fierce" or surprised look to her because of her facial markings. If she could talk, I swear she'd say "what??" or "oh, puh-leeze, must you?" lol
We adopted her, along with a companion, Buster, from the Siamese Rescue Center in VA, so we're not real sure of her history, but she obviously had trust issues and came to us with a bit of a 'tude that's taken several years to convince her isn't really necessary. It's only been in the past year or so that she's deigned to allow herself to be held without getting all huffy-puffy about the whole thing.
Slowly but surely and in spite of herself, she's learning to enjoy being scratched, petted, and loved on, but she'll never be a full-fledged lap cat.

I thought allllll kitties came with 'tudes!! Mine always have ;-) Most think of themselves as the ruler of all that is! Hahaha! Very pretty kitty!!
Oh, so nice of you to adopt cats. Sometimes one can wonder, who has the most benefit?
What you tell about beeing a little reluctent to sit on your laps, can goes for most cats. Some are very cozy, while others simply don't like too much cozy. An some jumps on you all the time. PURR - PURR.

Our Siamese get grumpy when that camera comes out... well, except Rhett... he is the movie star of the bunch although Clover's eyes are even more amazing than his.
Zoey is beautiful! :) It's wonderful that she found a great Forever Home with you. I don't like the flashy box thing either, but luckily my mom usually remembers to turn the flash off when she pulls out the silver box.
She sure is one gorgeous kitty girl!
awww... lookit that sweet pretty kitty. =) she looks all warm & cozy.
