Semantics personified...

So I'm watching the news last night and they're reporting on the King and Queen of Jordan. They were visiting an area school on some kind of goodwill mission. Apparently the language barrier is far greater than I ever imagined. Seems the good King and his lady weren't going to sit down and talk with these kids. Oh no, no, no... they were going to sit down and "begin dialoging." Begin dialoging?? What the hell is that?? Is that even a word?

Aaaarrrggghhh!! I can't stand it! Doesn't anyone speak plain English anymore? The word is T-A-L-K!! Talk, talk, talk. Maybe communicate. But dialog? NO!! Gimme a break!
