Rain, rain, go away...

Rat pee!! It's raining. Raining on my wood-sided house. Raining big, fat, very wet drops of water. Raining so that the wood will get soaked and they won't be able to work tomorrow because you can't cover up wet wood with vinyl siding. Aaaarrrggghhh!!!

Ah, well... it's good for the grass.

On the bright side, the contractors have shown up every day this week. It's slow going though... they've only sided the side and front of the garage, and part of the front porch. I really thought they'd have more done, but there's only two men working. I guess there's more to it than I thought.

So far, we're delighted. It looks wonderful and the thought of never having to paint the house again is so exciting!

C'mon, Mother Nature, have mercy... I'll water the grass, honest!!
