Kitty Komfort...

Well, it was time for a new one. The beasties have enjoyed their kitty tower but it was really showing its age and looking a little worse for the wear. No, that's a lie - three cats later, it was looking ratty as hell and getting embarrassing.

It had patches of shredded carpet and backing hanging loose, and other bare patches where hunks of carpet were missing. One of the three wooden posts was wearing thin from claw honing, and the sisal on the other post had grown almost fluffy from constant use. I was forever picking up bits of wood and loops/pieces of carpet from it that nearly gave me heart failure because I kept thinking it was the regular floor carpeting... the colors were very similar.

So, after much looking with minimal results, we finally settled on this piece. Not as cheesy as some, but not as well-made as what we have either. We even went back to the store in SC where we got the first one, but, alas, they don't sell them anymore. *sigh* I'll continue the search, but this will have to do for now. Oh, and by the way...it's not pink as shown above, it's beige-y, below.

We spoil our beasties... but it does help keep our furniture halfway decent!

I'm so jealous..well, actually maybe Hula and Milo are jealous. I can't wait to get a house so I can buy them their own kitty condo...the one we have right now is not very exciting.

Hope the kitties enjoy it!!

It doesn't look as if they're complaining too much, does it? Oh how I envy them! Wish I could learn to relax like that.
