Some musical firsts...

Snatched this from Sue (thanks!), who picked it up from Music Memoirs

First CD/Album Purchased: Oh Lord, I'm too old to remember exactly, but I think it was probably Webb Pierce, The Wondering Boy, a country album
First Concert: I dunno, probably Johnny Cash, back in the day, at the Terrace Ball Room in NJ.
First Musical Obsession: Sam Cooke
First Musical Crush: Phil Everly (The Everly Bros.)
First Musical/Musical Movie: well, I'm sure it's not the first, but one I can remember - Singing in the Rain.
First Stereo: probably some portable something acquired in my first marriage.
First Portable Device/Player: I saved my pennies and bought myself the coolest GE portable radio (in a real leather case!) for my 16th birthday.
First Musical Format Owned (i.e. LP, Cassette, 8 Track, CD) 45s, hundreds of 45s
First 45/CD Single Purchased: 45 - Tonight You Belong to Me by Patience & Prudence; the second was You're the Apple of My Eye by The Four Lovers... who went on to become Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. (I still have them both.)
