Speaking of winterizing...

... we carried it a step further and winterized our own selves too. Got our annual flu shots last week so hopefully we're all set for another flu-free season. With Lew and his asthma and me with my issues, we always make it a point to get them and they appear to be working... we haven't had the flu in forever.

Been hearing some rumblings on the news about the possibility of another vaccine shortage this year so feel real good about getting it done early. A well-timed phone call gave us a heads up so we were there the day after our doctor's office made them available.

Ha! Who else do you know who gets all excited about a flu shot? heh, heh, heh
