Deja Vu...

I pledge allegiance to the Flag
of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands:
one Nation under God, indivisible,
With Liberty and Justice for all. (including atheists...)

They say that history has a way of repeating itself, but this is ridiculous. Didn't we already fight this battle? Like about 40 years ago? With Madelyn Murray whatsherface? And didn't she succeed with her ideological ravings in having prayer banned from our schools? Where do these miserably unhappy people with nothing better to do come from? They're like cockroaches crawling out from under the woodwork.

So now comes this Michael Newdow character, all bent out of shape about God and the "rights of school children." Puh-leeeze! Excuse me while I hurl. If you're going to take on the government, at least be honest about it and call a spade a spade, shall we? The man's lawsuit had nothing to do with children's rights and everything to do with his own atheistic activism.

Yo! Mr. Newdow! You want to worry about children's rights? Why don't you take on something that really matters? Something that's epidemic in this country and is a lot more dangerous and horrific than your feelings of political exclusion. How about petitioning for harsher laws and sentencing for those perverts who'll take your little girl in a heartbeat if given a chance and do unspeakable things to her? Or the child abusers who treat children inhumanely and get away with it? Yeah, sure. You were real worried about children's rights.

I recall that the afore-mentioned Ms. Murray O'Hair, her son, and her granddaughter met with a rather brutal ending after absconding with half a mil of the American Atheists funds. Now I don't go around wishing bad things on anyone but I do believe in karma and what goes around, etc. I dunno, but that history repeating thing? I think I'd be a little concerned...
