Winter comes
The snow the grandsons were so excited about last night is visting us today. We usually get a doozy of a storm when it comes up from the south, but so far, this one is just a pretty, fluffy, gently falling snow.
Enough to keep me from venturing too far from the warmth of my cozy fireplace... unless, of course, I was throwing snowballs with two grandsons. ;-D

Awesome shot, that looks like a postcard!
I wish we had gotten just a dusting. I was jealous when I heard they got some in GA and SC and we only got rain. We haven't had any flurries here since 2000, so it's about time. We average about every 8-10 years, LOL!
Enjoy it, and your cozy fireplace too. Time for some hot cocoa :)
Look at the Winter wonderland! (Easy for me to say from presently 64-degree Florida -- hey that's cold for us! LOL)
