Prognosticating...

"As I look around me, a bright sky I see, and a shadow beside me. Six more weeks of winter it will be!"

So, the chubby little rodent stuck his furry little head out of his hidey hole on Gobbler's Knob the other day and handed out his annual proclamation. Phil, of Punxsutawney fame, has been predicting the weather since the 1800's and apparently, the little beast is never wrong.

Alrighty then - it could be worse... we could be out west under all that snow!

Maybe there wouldn't still be six more weeks of Winter if they had gotten right to it, instead of all that unseasonably warm weather you got in December.

ARRRGGHHHH! Have I ever mentioned that I dislike intensely...SNOW!!!!!

We seem to have our fair share of it here in Nevada! Your granddaughter saw enough snow and cold before she went back to her warm air...

Well, we don't get a lot of winter here, and I bet it still doesn't feel like winter 4, 5 or 6 weeks from now. Today, it's supposed to hit 80 degrees before a strong storm front moves through.

Is he really never wrong?! :)
