We have liftoff!

Finally! Two husbands, 30+ years, and almost six months of diddling with a contractor later we have the beginning of construction. Four very nice gentlemen are busily making one hell of a racket with their power tools, hammering, sawing, country music station and camaraderie as they go about the business of providing us with one multi-purpose room and one half-bath. After weeks of purging on our part to make ready, I'm finally able to muster up some excitement! It's been a l-o-o-o-ng time coming.
