Berry nice!

Saturday was Lew's birthday and in his phone call from daughter Susan, she told him a package was on the way. The package was delivered by Fed-Ex yesterday.

Oh my! What a delightful gift! A box of 16 of the hugest, most luscious, perfect strawberries I've ever seen! I mean, they're like apples you'd pick off a tree, not berries you pluck from a vine. The photo isn't lying - they are that big and that beautiful.

Each strawberry sat cradled in its own recess of soft foam, individually protected against bruising or anything else that got in their way - very impressive packaging. And they came with several different types of chocolate - white and brown - to melt and dip these wonderful lovelies into.
